Our summer, so far, in a nut shell...

It's been quite some time since I've been on here... and I miss it. And I am positive you all miss it too. (And by "you all", I'm referring to Courtney and Aunt Marla, because I'm pretty sure that's all who reads my blog)

Any how, a ton has been happening in the Ratcliff household! To highlight a few events...

We went to Disneyland for Marley's 4th Birthday!

(Don't be fooled by that face.)

Waited for Tony to go through the Disney Animation Academy 12 times! (Just to show people up)

 

Sat in drawers!

Milked cows!

Played in the rain!

Lounged by the pool! (And IN the pool!)

Went shopping!

Shattered our fingers! And got surgery because it was THAT bad!

(We went boating and Tony was wake boarding, the rope wrapped around his finger and CRUNCH! Shattered into 6 pieces.)

Played with our friends on the 4th of July!

And finally, after all that fun, we relaxed on the couch...

ANOTHER new friend

This past week, Marley met ANOTHER new friend. This girl is just so likable.

Too bad by the time they were done with their "play date", her new friend was no longer moving.

Tomorrow is a new day for a new friend... a more "lively" one, if you will.

Armdadiddoh

Yesterday, Marley made a new friend.

His name is Armdadiddoh (Arm-Da-Did-Doh, sound it out).

I'll help you out...

Armdaddiddoh=Armadillo=Rollie Pollie

She thought the rollie pollie was an armadillo because of its shell, which in her defense, they kinda do have similar looking shells.

Curry

Last night, I made beef curry stew for dinner. My mom had made some earlier in the day for my dad and brother, so I jumped on the bandwagon and made some for my family!

We clearly love us some curry! De-Lish!

Auntie Courtney & Uncle Ryan

Oakley wanted to show off her new shirts she got from her Auntie Courtney and Uncle Ryan.

Also- these 2 pictures are too cute to not post. These are for Nona =)

**Auntie Courtneys BIRTHDAY!** Oh... and St. Patrick's Day.

This past Saturday was Auntie Courtneys birthday!

We celebrated her birthday with green pancakes and green milk. Never mind that it was also St. Patrick's Day and Courtney lives like 5,000 miles away.

The girls also got new bedroom slippers from grandpa. Marley wears hers nonstop.

Oakley, on the other hand, has a while to go until she fits into hers.

Bath time

Oakley LOVES bath time.

Too bad I only bathe her once every two weeks. No, I'm kidding.

I probably bathe her too much, but she's just like her mommy- a warm bubble bath always calms her down.

I love this face. It's the "Aww ma, com'on! Don't take a picture of me naked in the tub" face.

The one thing she does hate about bath time though is getting out of her warm towel and into her clothes. Notice the death grip she has on the towel? She knows what's coming next...

Play day at the park

 The weather here in Boise was BEAUTIFUL on Sunday, so we decided to go to Settlers Park, which happens to be Marley's favorite park!

Marley made friends with every dog she saw there.

The Artist

Marley is an amazing artist.

If you'd like, she can do your portrait, and she doesn't even charge that much!

New home!!

From the front, we live on a corner so no neighbors to the left.

On the wall to the left when you walk in... notice the pictures? They are not of our family, rather, the originals that come when you buy the frame. I have yet to change them out.

 

To the right when you walk in- Marley's room!! Epically dirty. Story of her life.

Back out to the entry way, walking straight, this is the hallway and our famous "Wall of Marley".

 

 

At the end of the hallway on the left, our entry table Tony built. The picture frame we got from DI for $5 and Tony stained it to match the table. Like the thermostat? Pinterest baby. Pinterest.

 

 

Family room. I love our huge ottoman, aka- Marley's 2nd bed.

The yard is pretty big, but has been too cold to really play in it much.

 

 

Okay. Back in the house, when walking down the entry hall, at the end of the hall, to the right- there's a small hall leading to Marley's bathroom, Oakley's room, and the master bedroom. This is Marley's bathroom, to the right down that hall.
